Working at Brockwood Park in any capacity is more than a job opportunity - it is a lifestyle. A sincere interest in Krishnamurti's work and a commitment to creating a serious environment in (sometimes intense) co-operation with others are essential.

Inwoods Small School

Inwoods Small School is affiliated to Brockwood Park and is located ten minutes walking distance; from the campus. Situated in two converted barns and a straw-bale classroom on a two-acre woodland site close to Brockwood Park, Inwoods Small School offers a real alternative for the education of children aged from 5 to 11 years. Created thirteen years ago by Brockwood parents as a nursery school for their own children, Inwoods has grown into an enthusiastic small primary school with a full-time staff of five and a maximum of only 30 pupils. The children come mainly from local areas, on a weekly or part-weekly basis. They are taught in small groups in a way that pays full attention to their strengths, needs and interests, encouraging their curiosity and appetite for discovery.

The purpose of the school is to create an environment for learning to unfold, free from competition or pressure. Staff and children learn from and with each other in an atmosphere of affection and trust.

Inwoods Small School is interested in hearing from potential residential or non-residential staff with multiple skills, including teachers. If, having come across Inwoods or Brockwood Park, you feel this might be the kind of educational endeavour you would want to be involved in, please send an initial letter of interest and introduction to: The Head Teacher at Inwoods Small School, C/O Brockwood Park School, Bramdean, Hampshire, SO240LQ, or email: There are currently no positions available at Inwoods Small School.
